Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail

The soccer boys’ varsity team had achieved 9 wins, 0 losses, 1 tie and finished the season with a total of 28 points. With the introduction of new players, our soccer team was able to bring home the win after nine years.

After interviewing team member, Cody Gordeau (Senior), I came to the conclusion that due to the great bond that the team has, it was easier to work together and bring home the win. Also thanks to the teachings of Coach Chris Zogopolus, their skills were enhanced and positively impacted.

In our interview Cody stated, “Really good chemistry. Had jokes here and there. But, when it came down to it, our chemistry was solid and so was our playing.” The main thing I loved about this team is the eagerness to go out on the field, play their heart out, and showcase their full potential. “We kept on playing. Our amazing coach picked an amazing team. Anytime someone couldn’t play we had somebody else ready to fill in his shoes if necessary.”

Our team would soon be going to defend their spot in take home the championship trophy!
